Sad post but these things happen I suppose.
Me and a mate have been running a community bike workshop the last few months. Usually it just does free maintainence tuition for the local community (we’re on the Brandon Estate, Camberwell) but has been doing general servicing and repairs during COVID.
Last night our workshop was broken into and a lot of our hand tools as well as a couple of power tools have been taken. That’s fine, get them off the shelf anywhere.
What was also taken was a customers RockCombo. All original minus the brand new cockpit we’d put on to put it back to drop bars. The bike belonged to his dad, and was gifted to him a long time ago, so holds sentimental importance with the guy.
