STOLEN Orange C16R - Now with PHOTOS

Re:

Thee bastards. They obviously knew what you had at home. It's a real shame and outrage. There aren't too many slime green C16Rs out there so this bike/frame is going to stand out as it is. Commuting from Enfield down through Harringay, Islington, Smithfields to Waterloo, I've only ever spotted two slimes at most. I'll look out for this on my travels. Good luck. Don't give up on the bikes, don't let them take your soul as well. Having lost loved bikes before, I know it's hard.

Sorry to hear about the theft of your bike - I really hope you get it back.

Get yourself down to Bricklane market on Sunday morning and be prepared to buy it back, quite possibly in parts. There are a lot of stolen bikes sold usually off Sclater street. Pretty sure I saw my old ribble being sold as parts from a number of seperate stalls there the weekend after it was taken.

I've pondered for many years how best to recover stolen property if you chance upon it at cash converters or at the market. Presumably it's a grey area legally, but if you're certain it's your property then what's to stop you just walking away with it, there and then?
