Obviously in London, where even ones neighbours appear to be sneaky duplicitous robbing shites.

This was taken from outside my door on the second floor of a secure apartment building, in a secure compound of flats, probably by one of my neighbours. Left for 45 minutes while my tyres dried at 17:30ish on Tuesday the 24th January, the flat is in Bow, East London.

Should be pretty easy to recognise as it is the only Dolan built Cougar MTB that I know of, and is (was?) put together with some fine period bits.

Cougar 753 frame and forks
Mavic 315 headset
Cooks cranks
Campagnolo seatpost
Salsa bars and stem
Black Selle Turbo
Pauls chain tensioner
Dia Compe SS5/986 brakes
Bullseye rasta front hub, red Ti Hope aced to Mavic 231 TiB rims.

I'd really like at least the frame and forks back as there is some emotional attachment.

That's shit that. All the worse that it might be a neighbour too. Worth putting a sign up in your hallway with a pic...someone might have seen them?

Have a peep down the roman road and ask the little fuckers outside cost-cutter!

Failing that have a look at brick lane market although it's not likely.

Put a pic on london fixed gear and ss forum in their stolen thread. A lot of people seem to have a bit of luck with that.

Best of luck mate.

Make up some flyers and put them all over the show in the near vacinity, especially in the apartment.
Make sure you put how rare all the bits are and that there will be no questions asked if it's returned...

Sucks that there are scum out there like this though.

Amazingly, this worked - a neighbour had 'found it' by some bins (no he didn't, I checked three times) - it has however come back to me unharmed with the saddle lowered but the lights still on it.

I am feckin relieved!

That's great news , nothing worse than thieving scum

So the neighbour decided to take it for a ride? Sketch!

Good news that it came back unscathed, it would have been a shame if such a cool bike was lost forever (ok, you already know that).
