Its easy to think the worst and that people are being followed etc.
Fact is that Bristol (like other big cities) has a problem with drugs and the vast majority of these crimes are opportunist.
Sheds and garages are easy targets, certain areas have easy access to gardens/garages etc via lanes and paths and are in walking distance of more "dodgy" areas.
No one can stop a determined thief but we can make them think twice about choosing our sheds with alarms and big visible bolts, lights etc. The longer they take, the more noise they make, the more visible they are. . . . . . . they will try somewhere else.
