Hi Folks,
Thought this might be of interest to some!
As part of Stirling Bike Club's 'Crit on the Castle' event on Sunday 10th August we will be riding our retro bikes round a lap of the city centre Crit course: http://castle.stirlingbikeclub.org.uk/
This is a unique opportunity to dust off your tweed/flares/Hypercolor t-shirts*, look out that monocle and grab your Penny Farthing, BMX Burner, California Beach Cruiser or Flying Scot road bike and ride it round the Crit course!
So tell your friends, your Aunties and Uncles, your Granny and Grandpa's and even your Great Granny and Grandpa! It's time to take those beloved old bicycles for a spin!
*The choice is yours!
The Stirling Cycle Hub Retro Ride is being run in association with the 'Crit on the Castle' organisers, Stirling Bike Club. This is a ticketed event and tickets to take part in the Retro Ride can be purchased through the British Cycling website.

I work as Cycle Officer for the Hub. I'll be riding my 1990 fluro green Muddy Fox Courier Comp which I got my hands on through the Retrobike forum.
If anyone wants anymore info about the event then just PM me or contact the Hub direct: cyclehub@forthenvironmentlink.org or 01786 474160
