Very nice bike. Crazy market not to take this. Not a fan of the chocolate brown bar tape; change to better match saddle or white for highlight paint contrast colour/decals. Might be only tweek it needs.... GLS!

I have to say I am loath to spend more money to achieve a sale, although the points you make are valid. White will pick up on the cables/lug lining and panels. Black would ally with the Brook's saddle and so on. What is one to do? Would it make a difference to potential buyers on here? Apart from those who describe the kit as "entry level ". Is it? I don't believe so.

....probably not to buyers here, but to the less inclined on eBay- absolutely! First impressions as they say...mentality is as per selling houses: gates and front door newly painted, fresh flowers on display, brewed coffee on the hob, annoyingly it counts and spending money usually liberates more if carefully considered.

God, this just shows how slow the market is - this was a real bargain. Luckily for me it's way too small for me. GLWS on eBay, anyway - at least you won't have to pay seller fees on it now.

Sign of the times. What on earth has happened? A critical lack of disposable income I guess. Even we freewheelin' guys & gals are feeling it now.

Unfortunately eBay is very slow for bicycle sales too. UK Traffic to eBay.co.uk is down 21% Jan 2025 vs Jan 2022. Squeeze on disposable income for some, but more the negative outlook is impacting big ticket purchasing: Gfk published data states that UK consumer confidence fell -5 points this month vs last. The outlook is consumers saving for stormier days ahead unfortunately.
