Put some cable ties through the grip (the thin end popping out on the side thats going to be nearest the middle of the bar). Position them evenly around the inside of the grip.

Use them as a smooth surface to guide the grip onto the bar. Position the grip then remove the ties, one by one.

I have some ano bars and clear grips. Hopefully it won't damage the ano

Grips on my DJ/park bike slid on beautifully and are rock solid once it evaporated.
