Stickiest cantilever brake pads still available?

Hello chaps, I used to run grey aztecs back in the day before I moved onto V brakes, now I'm building bikes with cantis' again I need something that will stop my 16 stone mass a bit quicker than the shite I'm running at the minute.

I was very excited when someone popped up with aztec pads so much so that I bought 20 bikes worth but when they got here they were a hard compound pads who's only similarity with the aztecs of old was the name.

Koolstop - the Salmon ones for wet conditions (thats 90% of the year then).

set your cantis right and you wont need to worry about pads - its true!

Okay then mark what is the optimum set up? I was only a kid when I had cantis so my technique may need some tweaking!

Yeah is there a way to set them up that get's better efficiency from your brake like toe in/out etc?
