A local Michigan bike shop owner who rehabbed bicycles to give to under privileged people has been killed in an auto crash driving a truck and trailer load of bicycles to victims of hurricane Ian. This made National USA news but now is breaking everywhere. Here is his photo from The Guardian. I bought several bicycles from him and donated a few. His shop was successful, he called it various things. Build a bike therapy for veterans. Bicycle ministry sometimes. I bought a bike for $50 from his shop. He told me that the wheels and tires were worth more than that. He asked me to figure out what it was really worth and donate the rest of the value to charity.
