stem size help plz

hi

I brought a bh bmx
the stem is smaller than others and just under 20mm
but bent so needs changing

the only ones I can find are 21.1 and 22.2
and both to big

any ideas where I could find one checked ebay no luck

can you find a set of calipers and see what the size says it is ?

Dose it fit down the head tube all right ? or is it having trouble getting into the headset and the top nut ? headset might be the only thing you need to change !

doesn't go through the forks
had it measured says 20mm

new stem or sand down the out side of the stem - does the stem fit down any other forks ?
