no clue whether steinbach is known here, but it's a lightweight parts and frames company based in the alpes.
got this frame out of the first owners garage, but after some time i changed my mind and let it go.
for it's size it's light. imagine to undo the paint – that'll be another 100g loss in weight i'd guess.
anyways, there's no dents and with 135mm rear spacing, bsa threads and Ø1 1/8" front it can be build into anything. yes, there's old black tape on the tubes. yes there's a hole for a mudguard.

Sellers frame is the 49cm which is why it is a bit heavier. Head and seat tube angles are the same for the 3 sizes.

It was also available in raw finish. The Superlite's in differnet finishes were available as frames only and as complete bikes. The complete bikes were available with different components from budget STX to XTR.
