Just getting an idea of people's opinions; I have a 2000 bianchi XL ev2 Il Pirata, the black one, and other than the tyres is as it came. I have swapped the stem to the right length for me NOS ITM Big One in yellow (I still have the original) with no spacers underneath again to suit me. Now, I have 3 spacers above the stem as the steerer tube remains as it left the factory, question is do I cut it or not? I have my view but was wondering what others thought. Lose the 'as new' stock length or finish the build as it would have been if I had bought it in 2000?
Just something to ponder
I will post some pics soon in the readers rides and sorry it is not quite pre 98!
Thanks
