Steel, fast, 29er frame and forks

Ayyup,

I'm after a steel frame 29er ideally rigid forks, for going fast, primarily on roads, but too hack down to the beach and round local singletrack too.

something along the lines of a salsa el mar, ritchey p 29, genesis fortitude or some such. would like elegantly thin tubing, but less of a requirement than low(ish) cost.

some how had missed them, had even seen the 650b model a while back.

I fear I might be met with less friction at home if it were something second hand and (even) cheaper, definitely worth a drool though.

I have a genesis fortitude built up with spare parts - it’s nothing flash but might suit what ya after - I’m considering selling it as I just haven’t got the space - if it interests you Send me a pm

I may well have done, but actually settled on a *coughs embarrassed cx frame.

At least I will be able to zing past anyone who recognises me on a thin wheeled steed.
