Sorted Steel 29er frame, complete or partial (L or XL)

Hi all!

Trying my luck here and asking if anyone has a steel 29er frame, frameset, complete or partial bike for sale? Looking for an interesting project that can become my winter bike.

1. Original rigid steel fork preferred but not a must
2. Not looking for anything fancy or new… rather something I can put into good use without any second thoughts.
3. I’m 186cm and with super tall legs so I'm thinking L or XL will fit.
4. Singlespeed option is very welcome.

Regarding geo or bike usage, it should and can be an older Surly Karate Monkey or Ogre, On One Bootzipper, Singular Swift, Kona Unit or any other steel 29er.

My budget is quite open, all depends on what the seller has to offer (frame or complete etc.).

I have large 19 inch bombtrack adv+. Lovely frame and selling with carbon fork. I had the paint removed but currently at a shop pending respray.

I'm not sure when the bike will be ready hence no firm commitment to sell depending on what you find. Rear end is boost, BSA BB, tapered head tube. Laaaaavely.

Just re-read your post, I am 179cm tall so you're not much taller but the bike above was my setup. Frame may be too small for you. I have used this bike so much. Loved it and will regret it once it goes but basically have a Ti equivalent and really don't have room for lots of bikes now. Respray is due to paint being worn in lots of places from frame/bar bags.

Try an old hybrid frame. Many were made to take gravel size tyres. My old specialized will take 2.1 at a push.

Much cheaper too!
