Anyone have anything that's destined for scrap metal / the bin?
I have a steerer from an awful but mint set of RST 281's which I could use but I think they might be better donated to the local bike charity.
Looking for a minimum of 120mm.
I'm near Bicester if that's useful to know.
 
I may have a steerer from a set of rst forks. Are yours the type the steerer can be removed from? I'll dig it out if it's of interest. Iirc it's a threaded steel steerer and longer than 120mm.
 
Yes, mine is the removable / bolt in one which I could sacrifice for this use but as the forks are so mint I just thought I'd put the ask out for an alternative to keep these forks together so they could be used to get something riding at Bicester Green.
 
Pm me if you need, I have literally millions of old Forks, happy to chop and post a steerer for the cost of the "stamp"
My colleagues will thank me for making more space in the Bikeworkshop Parts Mine... for slightly less obsolete stuff🤣
