Steak and Chips or Steak and Potatoes

A thin Rare steak with the Frenchy fry type chips- sharp enough to cut yer throat but hot and fluffy inside. Loads of salt and vinegar, a dollop of mayo and a couple of grinds of the pepper mill over the whole lot. Yum.

Get out of here with your damn sheep!

I don't think most donners have ever seen a sheep to be honest...point taken though.

steak beans rice and farofa / brazillian style.
steak and egg noodles.
steak and pototo wedges.
or just steak and drissle of lime.

any one here been to a churrascaria?, you dont know steak until you have ;)

big fat fillet that a good vet could get back on its feet in 5 minutes. chunky chips. bit of garlic butter on the steak if i'm feeling fruity. mushrooms fried in butter and garlic. glass of fruity red. bosh.

Fat steak, chunky skin on chips, an egg and some heinz tommy sauce. Season with salt and pepper job done. Of course there is the other big debate.

Brown or Red sauce with your bacon butty?

Nothing I could really add to that....

Except my steak would be covered in ground peppercorns, flambéed in cognac and with a sour cream with all the pan juices. So I guess I´m +1 for cream.

And a green salad afterwards.

French bistro food that reminds me of my favourite place to eat when I lived in Cherbourg.

But red wine gravy and pommes daupinoise is pretty good too. That's gravy AND cream. Best of both worlds.

For me personally its Fillet steak :D
8-10oz cooked medium rare, with a blue cheese sauce made with double cream, shallots, garlic, black pepper.
Small perfectly formed potatoes

That does sound rather nice!

I think i retract my previous statement and just go with the generalisation that i like steak.
