Thanks for letting me know you are a Yorkshireman. I must say, it's usually in the first line rather than the second, as in, "Hi I'm XXX and I'm from Yorkshire" :)

Well we can only just keep up, stuffs turning over nicely - partly driven by online sellers who don't offer maintenance, and neither really do halfords/evans - and people are starting to notice that every bike is perfect at everything according to the online writeups.🙄
Not ideal if you're not an expert.

Where do i post a job advert?
Wanted??

So getting back on topic, who's buying what? Anyone bothering with bikes or a bigger purchase?
Just a small few parts here and there for me. No real plans to buy a complete new new bike any time soon, though always tempted by new to me frames to build up. Regarding wiggle / crc, I used to find them great for many things I needed, particularly tyres and Ritchey finishing kit but more recently (the last 5 years) they stopped stocking the parts that interested me. My go to places for new parts recently have been SJS, Spa and Freshtripe / veloduo, then ebay if I have to but ebay prices seem very high for parts at the moment.

Yep, similar for me. Great for the basics, especially cleaning, lubes and tyres. I've just grabbed what's left that's half decent.

eBay isn't great at the mo for sure, as discussed here.

Nowt wrong wi yorkshiremen.
We invented the bicycle after all😉

Unlikely unless this Yorkshireman was originally from Germany or Scotland.

You invented a type of pudding, best leave it at that ;)

I picked up another Ebike. A simple city/commuter type this time and 1/12th of what my other cost.
