Sshokwave the most exclusive ATB shop in the world!

That's cool, interesting how the Pauls Components stuff is not listed with the rest of the "boutique" stuff.
I cry a bit inside when I think of all the old MTB stuff I had, then ditched, and wish I still had

Seem to have something of interest in the bin as well.
Not sure about the holidays, I thought they really expanded into that area when the shop moved?
Must pop in.

I also found that site and emailed them to see if they had any old photographs or brochures of the original shop that they wouldnt mind sharing but i havnt had a reply as yet. :|
Looking at their boutique stuff didnt have the same effect as bitd , didnt temp me to buy something new and shiny. Mind you the bikes arnt retro yet are they :p

This is the reverse, holiday anyone? anyone here go on one?

Not as such... But when the missus and I went on our honeymoon, purely by accident (she doesn't believe me still but it WAS coincidence - it was a package tour booked in Denmark FFS) we ended up with a bedroom literally the floor above their workshop/hire premises - so it was rude not to go for a couple of rides with them!

I found the pace a little leisurely TBH... but it was a good atmosphere and the guides were nice.

Got some info back. The old shop was owned by Andy Hyndes who has now retired. His son Alex now runs the new shop. I mentioned this forum and the sad old gits on here talking about the old place and he said he would dig out some old stuff when he gets chance. "Calm down guys" I dont think he meant NOS Manitou's , stuff like old photos of shop/bikes/team , ads , that kind of stuff.

I think this was a great gesture from a busy guy. I did get the impression that he was a top bloke.
