Spring or Elastomer?

You can get a pretty good action with the right weight, or combination, of elastomers. Of course, like already mentioned, they have inherent damping properties to stop the fork pogoing or rebounding to quick as with just a spring. Some springs are more linear so have nicer compression, the mixed stacks used in some forks are a good compromise.

I cant notice any "rebounce". At least not on mine. The guidance bushings make them work very well. But of course, I can see your point!

Only really an issue on older forks, and its all slight.

Ive run springs instead of elastomers and just ran softer to lessen the harsh rebound. And the compression benefits, especially on short travel forks, for me make the switch to springs worth it if your having to replace the tired or dead elastomers.

Thank you all for the great input.
I'm thinking of using elastomer on one side and spring on the other.

By the way, where can I get the white bushings for the inner tubes?
My m2 didn't come with them.

I have plenty of them spare. You can buy a spring set and the white bushings at me. Just PM me.
