For all lubricating purposes I bring my bikes next to the stove during the morning fry up.

I find that melting a thousand candles in a couldron then slowly lowering the bike front first, that way the dirty bit goes in last, in to it is really the only way to lubricate a bike. if I'm feeling especially rich, I'll chuck a couple of pencils in for the graphite too.
