Hi folks, having stripped my '94 Killer V i'm debating trying the Spray.bike er bike spray.

Has anyone tried this product and if so
1) was it any good? &
2) will 1 can be enough for F&F and to get the satin finish they recommend 2 coats of varnish, again 1 can or 2??
finally  would you apply the decals before or after the transparent varnish?

Many thanks for any tips/advice-I did debate having it powder coated but fancied trying to do everything myself.

Re:

Have been looking at the http://spray.bike/ paint and prep stuff with interest. Not sure how durable it would be compared to a proper professional powdercoating. It's an appealing idea though if you want to try some creative DIY bike schemes, particularly if you're on a tight budget too. I'm thinking of trying this on something that doesn't matter first. It seems like it's 'powder coat in a can and drys fast & hard. I think the finish is either matt or satin with either one or two coats of the varnish. I'd be wanting a clear gloss varnish though. Vinyl decals could then be applied over the lacquer.

Re:

After some more reading, I see that the Spraybike paint is acrylic enamel. That should be pretty good stuff; much better than ordinary spray paint.

But it is not s durable as 2 part.

I'm still leaning toward that Eastwood 2K for my Schwinn...
