Ouch! Those old wounds still cause friction. Until we hear something authoritative, like maybe from RC himself, perhaps we should let sleeping dogs lie. In any case, if I could ever find one in a 17.5" or smaller, I'd snap it up in two shakes of a lamb's patootie.

And another Raleigh Alien Spotted, so glad mines didn't sell when I needed the money. The value on such a bike will only increase as time will prove how rare they are. Sadly I've never heard anything from the last buyer of this hard to find bike. Sure woulda loved to see it assembled but I'm still checking in.

It may be decades before you see one in person. Mines is still on display.... Aging gracefully.
