Not sure im ready for the, probably, massive and paradoxal comments about spokes, yet. But ill give it a try to see if I can be lead into a good direction.
Looking for some nice thin black spokes for my commuter mtb. Suggestions? of brands and webshop?

DT Revolutions are thin, not really commuter stuff, but hey ho.
Chainreactioncycles often have the best prices on these for a 36 set. and you can ask for half and half

Prices are far higher than they where a year or so ago though.
A bit cheaper you could get the normal DB one's

Black is so common, these are what you want - tie dye titanium spokes :xmas-cool:

If it's for a commuter, surely cheaper silver ones would be a better choice.

Otherwise Halo black spokes are a good tough and cheap choice.

I found a place selling them yesterday, but I've lost it now. They were around £100 a wheel IIRC :shock:

I tried to buy from them. But gave up. May be me? Weights claimed are for very short spokes.
My 32 DT Revolution spokes 136 grams (260 & 264 length)
