Spoke help

Snapped a rear DT Revolution today :evil: so plan to repair myself. Tips please and perhaps a YouTube vid for help on fitting a new spoke and then true it. Lucky I have a spare pair of wheels..

Here is a picture. Looks like i need to replace more as the chain has damaged some of the other spokes :evil:

ooof. I'd probably rebuild the wheel from scratch with that many damaged, especially on lightweights like revs.

Either do them one by one as you can true it up quite quickly spoke by spoke or loosen everything replace and then do as you would a full wheel build.

It's probably just more headache to replace all them spokes in one go with one side fully tight.

Think the same. Only have 4 spare. So off to crc to buy 18

Once you are done, I'd fit a spoke guard or at least trim the mech to prevent over shifting in the future (I prefer the latter myself as spoke guards look rubbish, but they do their intended job).

Good luck with the rebuild. Go 1 by one and you should be fine.
