This one was dirt cheap locally so I snapped it up a few months ago. Many of the parts are what I believe to be original to the bike less the wheels. It does have the crackle/checked paint in areas but overall, not too bad. I like the look of the "fillet brazed" areas on the frame and the rear brake chrome tube for the cable. I need to get a wheelset that's appropriate for the rest of the M550 group and a black seat post, saddle to finish it off. Has anyone stripped one of these of paint to confirm brazed or body filler? There are welds in the smaller connect points but the seat cluster, head tube areas have the fillet brazed look. First pic is what I bought, rest are what is now.
