I think the wheels are thermoplastic, were never carbon afaik.

Thermosplastic, you're correct. I miss-spoke. I emailed the seller. No response. Not sure what I'd do with them any ways, but he's only an hour drive or so away from me.

Shipping those to the UK wouldn't be more that $30-40.

I got an estimate of $65 USD from Atlanta to the UK for a standard wheelbox (26x26x10 inches) at 10 pounds. I suspect bikeflights.com could do it cheaper. It's still much less than 150-300. But they need to deal with import duties, unlike us in the US.

The seller responded to me. He seems like a decent guy. It's about a 2 hour round trip for me, and I don't have a need for them, so I declined.
