Made by Specialized and designed by WTB, these are one of the first truly high performance tires designed for a mountain bike
I'm pretty sure they are of 1993 vintage.
Grey tread with tan sidewalls.
Both tires are as new, directional and folding Kevlar bead..
The silicone hasn't been cleaned off the tread, just the sidewalls.
Tediously hand rubbed off, with just a clean cloth.
Installed on rims, rolled around, but never ridden on.
Still have the original boxes for each.
Nothing wrong with them, I just decided to go with Ritchey tires instead

Thanks for all the replies.
First person who responded ended up with them, though it took awhile.
I got sick and couldn't do anything.
But he waited.
Strange thing was, the day after I shipped them to him, my replacement tires showed up, the Ritchey Comp Z-Max Evolution. Wasn't expecting much but was surprised as they look like they will do fine. 1, considering the price (cheap) 2, the bike won't get ridden a whole lot.
Now to get them on.....
