Selling my year 2000 S-Works M4 FSR XC (the black anodized one..) in 17" size. Asking for £50+post to UK & anywhere else at cost. SOLD
17" Centre of BB to top of seat-tube. Effective top tube is short at 550mm and it's designed for forks around 445mm a2c (XC-types).
I'll leave the headset in place; this is a replacement Dia-Compe threadless upper with the original lower. Also included are all bearings & linkage etc, but no shock.
The frame needs a 165mm shock, and has rear v-brake mounts only. The seatstay is pre-drilled for a sharkfin adapter, but is not supplied with one. It is also pre-drilled with mounting bolt supplied for an e-type front mech. (I have an XT available separately for an extra £10 if you need).
All decals are present and in good condition - the main triangle decals are black gloss on the flat black frame, so it doesn't shout Specialized/S-works.. Only the M4 decals are red.
There's some wear to the anodising around the usual places (seatpost clamp, mech clamp area & a little cable rub) and a little bit of tyre rub; but overall the frame's in good nick for its age!
The main pivots are all good, no noticeable play on its last ride. Photos below - ask if you need any more.
