Retro Newbie
Hi,
Although it is slightly newer than some of the bikes listed on here I thought there might possibly be some interest in this as it is a rare bike in really good working order.
It is currently listed on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142383004538? ... 1555.l2649
Specialized S-Works FSR 2003.
The bike is totally standard and was purchased in 2003 from Hargroves Cycles in Chichester for £3500.
Size: 19 inch (Large), top of the range spec including Rockshox SID World Cup fork with carbon steerer, carbon bars, full XTR groupset and Fox float rear shock with brain.
This bike is very light (c10kg) and was Specialized’s top of the range cross country full suspension race bike.
It had been sitting around for a while but has just had:
*Front forks serviced at TF Tuned (£100)
*Rear shock serviced at Mojo (£140)
*New, chain, grips and DMR V6 flat pedals
I have only ridden the bike about 4 times since it has had this work done and it rode beautifully. It is fast, lively and comfortable but I have too many bikes so unfortunately I have to let this go.
As can be seen from the pictures it has various scrapes and wear etc as you would expect from a bike of this age but the frame and components are of very high quality and it has had all the big things done recently.
It could possibly do with newer tyres, new gear cables and a new saddle but it is in very good shape for it’s age and ready to ride.

I am based in Chichester in West Sussex, please message me if you are interested.
Cheers
