Specialized S-Works Cranks (need a polish)

Huh, always though Strongarms were made by Sugino. Mind you, with the comments above, I need to say I've never had any problems with Sugino cranks, so...

IIRC and they are genuine s-works cranks, they should be cold forged alloy, and fitted to the top of the range stumpy... Lower end strongarm cranks didnt have s-works engraved in them... And the area round the drive side crank bolt/end of arm tapers in, unlike FSAs etc. See how you get on with them, I say!

Agree. There is a big difference between the flexy noodle cheap-o Strongarms and the S-Works forged models. They are worlds apart and only similar in profile. Use the S-Works cranks with pride!

Yes the S-works are cold forged, totally different crank to the cheaper ones.
Either way £8 is a great price ;)

I should get them tomorrow - so we will have to see. I got emailed some other photos and they definitely look forged. The S-works logo is engraved on drive side only - but I'm pretty sure this was the case

I'll post more pics once they've had a clean and polish.

Can't decide whether to put them on my 93 Rascal (M900) or on the full DX Orange Prestige........... or buy a stumpy for them!!!!

definitely cold forged so not the cheap rubbish - bit of a mess and the rings are stuffed - but should come up clean and nice!!

Actually, looking at the picture, I think the set isn't matched. Your drive is a cast 4 arm not labeled as S-works and the non-drive is clearly S-works. They aren't a proper set of matched cranks.
