Specialized Hardrock value/year?

Hi guys can you have a look at this Specialized
Hardrock for me and give me a rough value, not
selling looking at buying. Also any Idea of the year?

The Spec:-

Paint proffessionally removed, Suntour XCM forks, Tektro cable operated disc brakes. Alivio 8 speed rear mech - Outland pedals - Bontrager shortie stem - DMD rims.

So what do you think?

About £170 ish.
The year is possibly 09?

Yeah, I'd put it in that region too. 200 at a stretch.

While they are powerful, the Tektro brakes are really low-end.
Same with the Alivio stuff. It's good, but not worth mentioning really.

My main concern is the fork. Suntour doesn't have the best of reputations nowadays.

a little smile on my face as I am paying a lot less
than both estimates and he is throwing in some

Fork should be ok but will need upgrading at some point. How much are you paying? Should be an ok deal i guess.

Well guys I thought it was worth the punt and I wasn't
disappointed. Collected it this morning and what better
way of putting it to the test than a 28 mile test ride taking
in some of Cannock Chase's finest trials, so after a 7 mile
road ride to get there, a further 7 miles on the Follow the
Dog, another 7 miles on the Monkey Trial and a 7 miles
road ride home, I am pretty pleased and for £100 it was
well worth it.

My only gripe is that its fitted with a Dotek YF PRO 6 crank
set, which is a single cog giving me only 8 gears

Bargain it is. Single ring setup is perfect, you will get used o it.
