so, in 2006 specialized created an anniversary stumpjumper to celebrate 25 years of the model: https://www.specialized.com/mx/en/stump ... ic/p/21602, as part of that run they also included a limited run of their classic ground control tyre.
I have had the bike sat in my office for many years, but decided to ride it during the lockdown. unfortunately the tyres are a bit grubby now, but in any case they've only had about 30 miles on them and would likely clean up with some soap and elbow grease. as I am using the bike on local trails, I've replaced them with the maxxis minion dhf now.
