Retro Newbie
Hello all, just managed to semi-resurect this 1998 (I guess) Specialized, all working fine now but not exactly as it should with mainly scrap parts :) , need to find out the exact part sizes it had (model and make if possible), front sproket, front derrailleur and buttom braket, everything else was on it, any of you have any info where I can find out or would sugest where to look. Went on google but did not really found anything, will keep looking.
thanks alot and here are some pics that I hope you'll enjoy (dusty ones are before repair)

It almost certainly came with Specialized crankset like the ones in this video:

It looks like it has the correct generic looking Specialized stem. Can't remember if they used their own brand bars too - probably. The seat post on FSRs of that era was usually Ritchey branded - the one in the pics looks like the correct shape.

I think my '98 Extreme had Matrix rims (?) on specialized hubs with Specialized Team Control and Team Master tires.

Thanks, will dig some more, when was bought it was missing just the crank set, buttom braket and front derreilleur, everything else seams original. The guy will use it in a "zombie mode" for now and will see what we can find until next season. Was surprised how well it rides, first full suspension pre 2000s bike I rode. :)
