Specialized fatboy hemi headset

He peeps, from what I can remember, these require a reduction spacer to fit a 1 1/8th headset!?! Any idea what size reduction is required?

I've searched t'interweb in vain and the frame is currently 300 miles away in storage so I can't exactly measure it easily.

Cheers,

Will

One of these or is this a different bike ??????

This is the closest match I could find:

I reckon, it probably is a 1" 1/8 and I must have offered a 1" up to it by accident. I'll get it measured, I think that'll be the most obvious solution! lol

Cheers,

Will

would of thought on that year it would be 1"1/8 - as old school is classed at 1"

B ;)

Yeah, I guess you wouldn't class it as old school, give it time though!

It is hard to see from just looking :?

they started bringing in the 1"1/8 in the 90's but there some that stayed 1" and some that you think would be 1" that are 1"1/8

so the best is to measure if you gonna buy a stem

my money would be 1"1/8

sorry if i'm not much help

cheers B ;)

.

I've just acquired one of these, they are 1"1/8. I'm currently trying to fit 24" wheels in a 20" frame..which is nice :D
