Specialized Dolce women's road bike in XS, which I'm in the process of converting this to flat bars for my daughter (aged 11). Not too much left - just the shifter, cassette, chain and cabling to do.

I've donated it a few nice parts from the garage - a lightweight Cosine wheelset and happily enough despite the fact the frame must be at least 10 years old (although almost unused!) it still has clearance for the 32mm Pirelli P Zero tyres that were on the wheels. It will be a 1 x 11 drivetrain with XT rear mech, SLX cassette/chain, Deore shifter and the neat little 155mm Goldix crank from AliExpress. New Tiagra flat bar brake levers with 105 brakes. The size is perfect and I'm pleased with how it's going so far.

This is now basically complete and cabled up (just a weird problem with the rear brake caliper which might need replacing).

Also got some batteries for the digital scales - it's 8.1kg complete, which is lighter than the 24" Islabike it replaced!

Wow! I brought an older one back from the dead using original parts and it wasn’t a light thing. Those wheels must be something else. Nice job and hope she enjoys it.
