spec details.... how much can you remember

1997 GT Timberline, started off as catalouge spec and ended up with:
Marzocchi DH3 forks (upgraded with Z2 spring kit), XT front and rear mechs, Sun Rims (Big Mammoth rear, red Rhyno Lyte front), red Club Roost stem, red ano Scott risers, oh and the red DX spds.

I had a thing for red back then, clearly. And I also seemed to be happy to try and set it up as a DH bike!

My first mountain bike was a 1990 Giant Sedona ATX. 7 speed shimano LX gruppo, bio-pace chain rings, push/push shifters and rigid steel. Gawd I lived that bike.

*edit* e
Remembered... 1.85 Tioga something tires. Thought they were pretty fat tires in those days, LOL!

My very 1st Mtb was a Claud Butler Silver Ridge and had full 200gs until I partially upgraded it. Loved that bike and did so many miles on it, great memories :) Still riding the same trails every weekend now that I did bitd.
