Sovos hubs

Just picked a blue ano sovos hub laced to a mavic 231 rim for a fiver last night.
Does anyone know anything about them as they are a new one on me?

Hi Chris, I haven't seen any anodised ones before but, the plain silver one I had a while ago now, was nowt special. Similar in quality to aliviol/altus.
Im not aware of a range of sovos hubs.
If they spin okay and no play, I'd run em for winter or clogging rides.

Now I'm trying to think when I had one and, the bike it was on....

So, as good as anything else really but without the desired decal. Vague memory tells me they are nowt special but so called bigger brands suffer the same cone pitting.

Cheers Marc, I was quite pleased to get a virtually unworn 231 rim for a fiver anyway, I'll service the hub and put the wheel to use on something.

Used to have a rear wheel with one of these. Same color. Indeed, nothing special quality wise, but keep it greased up and it will last you a few seasons.
