This is exactly the point I was (badly) trying to make earlier.. Betsy's son is doing his very best to be legal and courteous while making his own life easy getting around.
Local plod probably know him by sight and know he's not trouble but he still could be affected by wide casted legislation just because some halfwit parents crotch goblin wants to be an arse/ gangster/ showoff and gets everyone tarred with the same brush.
The horrible thing is the lad is an easy target because he won't run from police so he'll be first in the net during a purge.

I don't mind the electric bikes and scooters when they are being used responsibly to be fair, the delivery riders with no lights who rocket off the pavement while dressed all in black and the local wildlife racing around the streets the same way get right on my middle age man tits

I hate all the out of shape people on them who ride where they like, ruin the countryside and just would never be there if not for that bloomin motor. I can also see why people hate them on the proper trails and how many there bloomin are using them now. Also the feral drug chavs who use the illegal ones to get up to no good and cause havoc on roads and paths.
