interested in Octalink road cranks - they're 105 not Tiagra though (That's a good thing though)

Are they standard octalink not the funny short splined ones like old m95x XTR ones?

Sorry to butt in They use a 'road' octalink BB. The BB5500 is for 105 and the BB6500 is for ultegra. DO NOT try and fit them to an mtb type octalink BB, I tried and it wasn't pretty

Yes... the road octalink is a shorter spline than the mtb version. Think i've still got a pile of ulteg' ones sat on a shelf at work somewhere.
