i've never understood crims who steal plates...can't you still buy them off ebay for about a tenner?
if you are going to commit crime..you nick the plates of a car that you as the scrote/crim are going to use to commit the offence..usually if the car thats had the plates stolen from is a high powered vehicle..range rover/audi/bmw..that might suggest very high value target..bank/money/jewellery..ram raid..
Hope this all makes sense
Ernie
nah i understand why they do it...
but what i'm saying is that if they had any common sense would find a car that matched. Example : They have stolen a black range rover, you find another black range rover...write down the numberplate...order the plates off ebay. Put plates on stolen Range rover. Commit crimes...
The moment you steal the plates, it means that the owner is going to alert the police that the plates are stolen...so then your clean plates are worthless because its on a database.
If instead you have ordered them off ebay you have the same plates as the landrover on the drive, but the guy who owns the clean car wouldn't realise that their car has been cloned untill the police kick in his door...
You could go for a longer period before anyone notices and you have to change the plates again.
