Yep, for the price of an inner tube a nice classic steel frameset

17"

Frame seems pretty good, no cracks or dents and quite nice paint, does sound like there's a little sand in it or something though when turned upside down.

Marin rockstar forks included in good nick.

Bad points - seized seatpost and stem seems stuck, bottom headset race has no bearings.

Would make a nice first go at singlespeeding or a leave where you want pub/hack bike.

One crisp £5 note is all I want

pickup only from Worthing near Brighton. PM me.

If those are 1" threaded forks I would be very interested if you would be prepared to split :)

Go on, nice and easy to post just the forks ? :)

I think the stem's stuck by the looks of the 1st post...

appart from them being 1 inch threaded whats so special about em? ive got numerous old forks in the shed still...

I'd be interested in the frame and forks but as I live so far away I wouldn't be able to collect. If I could arrange a courier to collect would that be ok with you?

Hacksaw the stem, undo the lock nut and top cup - I will do the rest ;)

I would but it really is a hell of a lot of effort for little return even if there is a nice load of 'bike part saving karma' on offer.

Sorry, it's here if you want to travel though ;)

I really didn't want any grief with finding a huge box and staying in waiting for couriers but i know what it's like wanting things that are local pickup only and being miles away. If it's not gone in a week by collection then we can sort that out.

If the seatpost is stuck ,then why is the binder still in use :?

Why not? I'll just lose it otherwise. It's just hanging there with no force, not doing the bike any harm
