Hi all, after many, many happy years riding 26" steel singlespeeds, I have finally made a move to the darkside and have a geared 29er.

As a result, my last remaining SS a Cotic Simple and associated parts are now for sale.

The frame is a medium and while it has been used, it has not been abused (a week in hospital after a crash 20 years ago means I don't push my riding any more!!). The frame has the rubs and marks that you would expect but no dents or cracks. You might be able to see a row of cable clips on the toptube, these were used to carry a dropper post remote cable and are only stuck to the frame - easily removed.

The forks are Reba Team 100mm. Serviced about 35-40 riding hours ago by TF Tuned themselves. Everything works as it should including the remote lockout. Cosmetically it is very good/excellent.

In addition, the package includes an almost new Cane Creek C2 headset, a seatpost clamp, and some Easton EA70 bars and stem.

The bike has always been stored indoors and have had very little use indeed since I built it up about three years ago.

We're based in Kingston Upon Thames and I'm very happy for anyone who is interested to have a socially-distanced look.

Ideally, I'd like to sell everything together for £275 as I also need to start a concerted clearout!

I'd say that at 6ft 1 with long legs relative to torso, I am at the top end heightwise for the frame - this is why I moved to a 29er. However, it built in to a great XC set-up for rolling around the Surrey Hills and should do someone well.

Happy to answer any questions etc.

Re:

I’m not interested in buying as I already have one but I just want to say that it’s the best handling and most fun singlespeed frame I’ve ever had. I’ve got mine built with 440mm a-c RC31’s and it’s ace. And I’m comparing it with an Indy Fab Steel Deluxe SS and Seven Sola Ti SS and DeKerf SS.

Good luck with the sale and whoever buys it, enjoy!

Re: Cotic Simple 853 singlespeed with Reba Team 100mm forks etc

Thank you for the positive note. I also had a Dekerf singlespeed (Reynolds 725 version) and the Cotic ran it very close - the Dekerf suited me a little better as the frame was longer. I've had some interest so optimistic it will find a good home among the RB 'massive'!
