For sale this small, rather pink, Roberts f&f.
653
1990, September if I’m reading the frame number correct
Seat tube 47cm c-c, 48.5cm c-t
Top tube 50.5 c-c
1” headtube at 9cm
For 700c wheels
27.2 seatpost
126mm rear spacing, vertical Shimano dropouts
Fork is original same number as frame, chromed.
Roberts castings on fork crown, bottom bracket, seat stays.
All Cinelli lugs, campagnolo braze on for front mech
Condition : all straight, no deep rust, everything came apart fine. However, paint is a bit faded, though you’d notice less when build up, but many small scratches on most tubes so I’d say a powder coat or paint would be needed to make really presentable. Having said that, it’s not the worst I’ve seen and could be used as is or with a touch up. Chrome on forks pretty good - slight bubbling under the finish, mainly inside the top of left leg. I don’t think you’d need to renovate the fork.
Wheels shown just for illustration.
£100 collected Bournemouth or say £17 on top postage.
