also says 'C2 TYPE-R' underneath model number if that means anything?
i think it would date as 1998, hence me sticking it in this section.
pretty much the last decent 8spd cassette shimano ever made, before we got 9psd forced down our throats.
near perfect condition for a used item. has had very little use(i went singlespeed a few months after buying it, back in about 2000?) only teeth that show any use are 3rd and 4th, if you look closely. no chain with it, but being so lightly used i shouldnt see fitting a new one to it being an issue. even comes in original but tatty/squashed box! some fine rust spots on the backs of a couple of the teeth and pins, but cant really be seen when fitted and would probably polish off anyway- i havent tried with my fat fingers
