Hi Waterford 45 , Please could you measure the length of the head tube ?. It might be a mistake on my part but the size of your Randonneur seems to fall between the 55cm and 57cm size , I don't think the guy with the tape measure would have been that far out at Raleigh but worse things have happened in frame building . I have one of these and am doing one up for a mate absolutely lovely frames ! Good luck with the sale !

Hi kermisking, hope you don't mind me jumping back in here - I have a theory on sizing these 708's.
As we all know Raleigh used to measure from centre to top - but I actually think these 708's could be measured from centre to centre. How does this work with the 708 you are currenly working on could you check this out for us by measuring the seat tube ctc & ctt to see which one works.

Centre to centre its seat tube is bang on the factory geometry for a 58cm.
