So I am finally shifting this on as I have realised its just too big for me. It did come with the original DX groupset but I have plans for that so just selling the frame package for now. It measures approx 25" (63.5cm) from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the top tube with a top tube length of 23"(58.5cm) so is like a garden gate!
It is in a fair condition considering age and use with the usual chips, scrapes etc but no dents. It comes complete with 531 fork, headset, seatpost and a silky sealed shimano bottom bracket. It obviously is intended for canti brakes but no reason why calipers can't be used if wished.
Now...for the negative...very annoyingly I have only just discovered when cleaning years of oily grime off this lovely old frame has a hidden past. As you may have already noticed the frame number has been very carefully removed and painted a different shade. This was clearly done donkeys years ago as there is surface rust on the blue paint. With this in mind I have priced it accordingly as will put off certain buyers. Full receipt will be given. I think £50 is a fair price. It is located at my house in Southwell, Notts although I am happy to post at buyers expense(under£15 I guess?).
