guys it measures 17 inch and top tube 22 inch

It is a '97.

top-tube is 22.5" for an 18" frame and headset is 1"1/8, BB shell 68mm.

Spookily I've just finished mine and it is now ready for de-NOSing :twisted:

The frame is 4.25lb, mine is probably less than 24lb at a guess as you see it there.......full xt and Maguras, 221 rims with OE stem etc so hardly a weight weeny build.....but it should be tough enough!

it's a nice frame, lively without being too wippy. it's the same frame as the Axis model just with a different painjob.

Thanks - it's just a shame it doesn't have the matching forks.

I agree, shame the forks are missing. The frame is suspension corrected though, you could run a 70mm fork on there quite happily something like a Manitou SX works nicely.
