I’m not going to have time to embark on this as a project, which it deserves... either now or in the short to medium term. So only fair to offer for sale (though it hurts
)
Pace RC100, very original condition. 19.5” c-t
First, the bad... Paint has seen better days (but could be passable imo if you want originality) and the rear wheel and mech have been replaced (mech is a modern aberration, wheel is hope on mavic)
Bars cut to 51cm.
One milled out Magura clamp has a crack to one side (but see spares section below)
One top tube cable guide has a slight crack, still functions, could probably be fixed
Original headset very notchy (but it’s the modified xcPro)
The good:
All the tricky to find parts are present!
I have the original paperwork/owners manual (which were only typed./ copied sheets, but still...)
This has the original early RC35s with pronounced ‘step in the carbon’
Original stem/steerer.
Original renthal bar
All original yellow/green renthal bolts
Original cable guides
No cracks, no factory repair or modification to seat tube
Original front mech, Bullseyes and bottom bracket (one white bullseye as a 90’s warranty replacement)
Chain suck plate intact
Original rigid forks.
Spares:
Full spare set of pace specific maguras with the milled clamps
Original non-AB RC35 stantions
A bearing box to have the correct spec for replacement bb bearings
Magura service kit
Some probably knackered elastomers
Some silly prices on these recently, but £1100, collect from Bournemouth. PayPal or transfer. A little nervous about delivery as if prefer inspection and meet in person, but try me if you are keen.
Extras : I can supply a xt rear mech if you wish for £20
I can supply a 27.0 Xc Pro seatpost for £20
