I'll update this thread with pics in the next couple of days when my friend and I have agreed what's for sale, so just testing the water!

The current owner is a good friend and riding buddy of mine who's just upgraded and wants to sell what's left, which is an ideal basis for anyone looking to build up a very tough full sus AM bike for not much moolah!

2008/9 Iron Horse Warrior 4.0 frame with 120mm Fox Vanilla R coil shock (size 17")

£140 posted (or £20 less collected) which includes:

original seatpost and QR clamp
Marzocchi 120mm forks
zero stack headset
Shimano front mech

Frame shows signs of use and despite new shock bushes still has a tiny amount of play in one of the pivots... but still ready to build up and thrash, it's straight and structurally sound.

Forks are good, seatpost & clamp fine, front mech fine, headset could probably use new bearings (standard size).

Quite a burly frame, forks suit it well and fantastic downhill! All external cable routing, no cables dangling under downtube

Just been stripped by yours truly, will get his new frame built up and update this ASAP! :D

EDIT:
Pic... can email hi-res / close-ups to seriously interested people!

yep yep am on the case, pics later this morning (this applies to all my latest threads!) when it's a bit lighter! Cheers, Al

Might be interested in the forks if you split from the frame, pending steerer length, condition, model etc etc etc etc

OP amended as follows:

Price is £140 posted or £120 collected

Chainset & BB will not be included

May sell forks separately if someone wants the frame only

Forks are Marzocchi MZ Comp 2007 in black with red and white decals, black crown and chromed stanchions. They have adjustable preload, a 185mm steerer with star nut and have a-c of 510mm. They are for standard 9mm QR and have PM disc mountings. No rim brake bosses, the holes are filled with MZ boss plug (on the RH side) and MZ hose guide (on the left).

In good nick, few scuffs and scratches, applied some Brunox lube to them last night and they feel nice & smooth now.

I also have another similar pair from 2004 which are 100mm with 205mm steerer, for v or disc, and in better cosmetic condition if you're interested?

Needs to be 120mm travel i'm afraid as they are replacing a 4" set on a Marin DH FRS (basically a B17) which has 6" rear travel.

Steerer might be tad short at 185mm. Will measure up.

Interested in both sets of forks please. Preference on the '04 ones.

Details and prices collected please?
