Devout Dirtbag
i'm selling my Marin Team Titanium 20th anniversary limited edition frame.
It's a Lynskey production to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first Marin's titanium frame that was also produced by Lynskey.
Production is limited to 50 frames in the world, here is the number 26 of the 50th; can't be better for a 26er :)
As any Lynskey's frames this one is covered by the lifetime warranty (I'll gice the invoice from Moonglu in UK).
The quality and details of that frame is wonderful and the "the titanium magic" is there.
It's a 19 inches frame, check at the pictures for geometry chart. Actual and verified weight is 1443 gr. so pretty light for a 19" titanium frame.
The frame is in perfect condition, no dents or cracks.
Possible to be sold as frameset with a perfect condition too Rock Shox SID Race 2010, 100mm.

Re: Marin Team Titanium 20th anniversary frame - #26/50

They are lovely - a very nice blend of classic and modern! I used to have one, was a great ride with the 100mm fork. The light frame with the pretty stiff "Ti Burner" rear end made it very sprightly! I think they are triple butted too which is posh. You'd pay way more if it had Lynskey written on it... but Marin will always have a place in my heart! :)

Re: Marin Team Titanium 20th anniversary frame - #26/50

Definitely. This frame is way more exotic and rare than a "standard Lynskey" even if it is and it has all the Lynskey building quality.
I love that frame too but for financial reasons I can't keep an XC 29er, XC 26er, enduro 26er and also having some other "expensive" passion at the same time (motorbike and photography).
So this is the only reason why I'm selling it.
The only thing I hope is that the new owner will appreciate that frame has it's supposed to be and take care of it.

Re: Marin Team Titanium 20th anniversary frame - #26/50

Yes, I too had one of these from the second batch of 50 made. They are an amazing hardtail, and I only sold it because it was a 19 inch frame, and really too big for me. I sold it on thinking that I'd soon find a 17 inch one to replace it with - I'm still looking, two years later! If this was a 17 inch, you'd be wrapping up right now. Good luck with a new home.

Moonglu had that frame in stock or one similar in September 2009 when I bought my Litespeed Hummer from them.

I was very tempted at the time to go with the Marin as it was £200 cheaper and looked very nice.

No regrets though as the Hummer is great.
